Promoter Terms

Effective as of November 1, 2026 • Version 2026-11-03

These terms explain how TixFlow works with promoters: people who sell an organizer's events to their own audience through personal links and promo codes – DJs, bloggers, club ambassadors. It applies to promoters and to the organizers who work with them. It adds to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; it does not replace the agreement between an organizer and a promoter.

1. Who does what

The organizer decides whom to work with, sets each promoter's commission, and pays it.

The promoter shares their links and codes and earns the commission the organizer set.

TixFlow provides the tools: personal links, counting of clicks and orders, the commission calculated at the organizer's rate, and the same figures shown to both sides. TixFlow is operated by L5L3 s.r.o., Farského 1121/9, Holešovice, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic; company no. 21883653. Contact: support@tixflow.org.

TixFlow is not a party to the agreement between an organizer and a promoter. We do not employ promoters, act as their agent, or recommend them to organizers.

2. Joining and leaving

A promoter joins an organizer through an invitation link, an invitation by email, or an invitation to a single event. No organizer account is needed: a promoter works in the promoter area, which shows only the events they promote. Like every TixFlow user, a promoter accepts our Terms of Service.

The organizer can remove a promoter at any time. From then on the promoter's links still open the events but count nothing and earn no commission, and the promoter cannot rejoin through that organizer's invitation links unless the organizer restores their access. Commission already earned stays payable, and the promoter keeps seeing it.

A promoter can stop at any time by no longer sharing their links. To have their access removed, they can ask the organizer or write to support@tixflow.org.

3. How sales are counted

  • Links. Each promoter has a personal link to each event, can create additional links for individual channels, and can print a QR code; a scan counts as a click.
  • How long a click is remembered. For the visitor's browser session – or for 30 days if the visitor allowed marketing cookies.
  • The last click wins. If a visitor arrives through several links, the order is counted to the last one.
  • A promo code beats any click. A promo code the organizer assigned to a promoter counts the order to that promoter, whichever link the buyer clicked before.
  • Which orders count. Only online purchases paid with money. Door sales, Tap to Pay, the guest list and free orders are never counted to a promoter.
  • Self-purchases – orders placed with the promoter's own email address – are flagged to the organizer, not blocked.

Counting is technical. An ad blocker, private browsing, deleted cookies or a switch to another device can lose a click, so TixFlow cannot guarantee that every sale a promoter influenced is counted to them.

4. Commission

  • Only the organizer sets the rate: a percentage or a fixed amount per ticket, as a promoter's default or for a single event.
  • Base: the ticket price after discounts and promo codes, without VAT and without fees.
  • Fixed at payment: commission is calculated when the order is paid, at the rate in force then. A later change of rate does not affect past orders.
  • Refunds: refunding an order cancels its commission. If the commission was already paid, the promoter's balance goes negative and their next commission covers the difference first.

The commission shown in TixFlow is a record of what the organizer owes under their agreement with the promoter. TixFlow does not guarantee that it is paid.

5. Payment

Money never passes through TixFlow. The organizer pays the promoter directly:

  • another way – by bank transfer or in cash, outside TixFlow. The organizer can record such a payment so both sides see the same balance; the record moves no money and is no invoice;
  • through Stripe – by card or SEPA, straight into the promoter's own Stripe account, once the promoter has connected one. Stripe's fee is deducted on the promoter's side; TixFlow takes nothing.

TixFlow holds no promoter balance, keeps no money in escrow, does not pay commission on the organizer's behalf, and is not liable if an organizer does not pay. When and how much to pay is the organizer's decision under their agreement with the promoter.

Invoices, taxes and social contributions on commission are a matter for the promoter and the organizer. TixFlow issues no documents for commission and gives no tax advice.

6. What each side sees

The promoter sees their own clicks, orders, tickets, commission and payments, for each event and link, including past events. A promoter never sees the organizer's revenue or who bought a ticket – no buyer names or email addresses.

The organizer sees each promoter's name and email address, their results, commission and payments, and whether they have connected Stripe for payouts.

If the organizer turns it on, a visitor arriving through a promoter's link sees the promoter's name on the event page.

7. Rules for promoting

A promoter must promote honestly and lawfully. In particular, a promoter must not:

  • send unsolicited bulk messages (spam);
  • make misleading claims about an event, its prices, its line-up or ticket availability;
  • pretend to be the organizer or TixFlow, or use their names and logos beyond what the organizer allows;
  • generate artificial clicks or orders – bots, forced redirects, hidden links or placing cookies on visitors who never clicked;
  • break the rules on advertising and consumer protection, including marking paid or sponsored content where the law requires it.

The organizer can remove a promoter who breaks these rules. TixFlow can suspend a promoter's access or stop counting their links in case of abuse, and may tell the organizers concerned.

8. Personal data

To run the program TixFlow processes a promoter's account details (name, email address, language), their links and the clicks and orders counted to them, their commission and payment records, and – if they connect Stripe – the identifier and status of their Stripe account. Bank and card details stay with Stripe. A promoter's details and results are shared with the organizers they promote for. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Buyers' personal data is controlled by the organizer, and promoters receive none of it.

9. Liability and disputes

TixFlow provides these tools under its Terms of Service. To the extent the law allows, TixFlow is not liable for disagreements between an organizer and a promoter, commission that is not paid, or a click that could not be counted. Both sides see the same figures in TixFlow, which is usually enough to settle a difference between them.

10. Changes

TixFlow may change these terms in the future. We notify promoters of any change by email before it takes effect. Questions: support@tixflow.org.
