Everything you need to know about setting up events, managing payments, and using TixFlow.

Why are Tixflow payments processed through Stripe Connect?

We didn't want to reinvent the wheel, so we chose Stripe Connect. It is the industry standard used by thousands of platforms and websites worldwide.

For you, it’s not just a "card entry window," but a complete financial hub. Here is why it benefits organizers:

Security — Not your headache

Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. This is bank-level security. Card data is encrypted and sent directly to Stripe, bypassing our servers entirely.

The Benefit: You can rest easy — the risk of data theft on your end is eliminated, and a global leader handles all transaction security.

Direct access to funds (No middlemen)

Many platforms collect money first and pay it out to you later. Tixflow works differently: you connect your own Stripe account to our platform, and funds go directly to your balance, allowing you to withdraw them at any time.

How it works: Customer’s card → Your Stripe account → Your bank. You are the sole owner of the revenue.

Important note: "Linking" an account is a standard procedure. It allows us to route ticket payments directly to your balance, but it does not give us direct access to your funds or account management.

Forget about "frozen" funds

Usually, ticket operators only release funds after the event has ended. With Stripe, you don't have to wait for the finale.

Your advantage: Funds become available for payout within 1–3 business days after a ticket purchase. You always have cash flow for marketing, rentals, or fees.

One-click payments (Apple and Google Pay)

Fewer fields in the form mean higher sales. Stripe supports Apple Pay and Google Pay "out of the box."

The Result: Customers don't need to look for their cards — the purchase happens in seconds. This directly boosts your website's conversion rate.

Smart fraud protection (Stripe Radar)

Stripe offers a built-in system to protect against suspicious transactions and "fraudulent chargebacks."

Please note: If you need enhanced protection, you can manually activate and configure Stripe Radar (a paid option) in your Stripe dashboard. This minimizes the risk of bank disputes and protects against fraudulent reversals.

Accounting without Excel spreadsheets

In the Stripe dashboard, income and fee reports are generated automatically. You simply download a ready-to-use file for tax purposes — everything is transparent to the penny.

FAQ

Do I need to create a new Stripe account?
Not necessarily. If you already have a Stripe account, you can simply connect it to Tixflow. If you don't have one, the system will prompt you to create it. In either case, you remain the direct and sole owner of your financial profile.

Where exactly is the money stored after ticket sales?
Money is not stored in Tixflow. After a purchase, funds go to your personal Stripe balance. Thanks to the Connect architecture, we only technically "route" the payment to your wallet without having any access to manage your money.

When can I withdraw money to my bank account?
Funds are usually available for payout within 1–3 business days after the transaction. Exact timing depends on your Stripe account settings and your bank's policies.

Who is responsible for payment security?
Stripe takes full legal and technical responsibility for processing card data (PCI-DSS Level 1 standard). Card information does not pass through or get stored on our servers.

What if a customer requests a refund?
You process the refund directly in your Stripe dashboard. The money will be returned to the customer automatically. For extra protection against fraudulent claims, we recommend using the Stripe Radar tools available in your account.
