At Tixflow, there are no subscription fees or hidden charges. We only earn when you sell.
The total commission for each ticket sold consists of two parts: the platform fee and the payment processing cost (Stripe).

Total: For a ticket sold in USD, the total commission is 5.2% + $0.50. The fixed portion is tied to the currency of your event.
Why is the Stripe fee fixed at 3.2%?
The actual cost of a Stripe transaction varies depending on the card type (international, corporate, or Amex). We set a fixed rate of 3.2% to simplify your accounting.
The Benefit for You: If a customer pays with a standard local card, the actual cost in Stripe might be lower than 3.2%. In this case, the difference stays with you — we do not take the surplus; it simply increases your net revenue.
Who pays the fee?
In the settings of each event, you choose the payment model:
- Pass-on fee (Default): The buyer sees the ticket price + service fee. You receive the full face value of the ticket in your account.
- Absorb fee: The buyer pays only the ticket price, and all commissions are deducted from your revenue.
What happens to the commission during a refund?
According to Stripe's rules and international banking systems, commissions for processed payments are non-refundable. When you issue a refund, the bank keeps the transaction fee as payment for the processing service already rendered. Please keep this in mind when creating your refund policy.

Can I get a custom rate if I have high sales volume?
Yes. If your sales volume exceeds $10,000 per month, contact our support team. We can discuss individual platform fee terms.
Is there a fee for free tickets?
No. If a ticket costs 0, Tixflow takes no fee, and Stripe does not trigger a payment process. It is completely free for you and your attendees.
When is the commission deducted?
You don’t need to pay anything separately. The commission is deducted automatically at the moment of purchase. The amount deposited into your Stripe account is already net of all fees.
Does the currency affect the commission percentage?
The percentage (2% + 3.2%) remains the same for all major currencies. Only the fixed portion ($0.10, €0.10, etc.) changes depending on the currency you are selling in.
