Sales Statistics
How to read the analytics dashboard: revenue, sales by date, promo code usage, check-in, and traffic sources.
The Statistics Section
The statistics dashboard gives you summary data on your events' sales and attendance. Here you can track revenue, sales velocity, refunds, and promo code performance.
Path: Portal → Analytics → Statistics
Filtering by Event
At the top of the page, select a specific event from the dropdown — or leave it on "All events" for a roll-up view across the whole organiser.
KPI Cards
The dashboard shows key metrics:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total revenue | The sum of all paid orders for the selected period |
| Tickets sold | The number of valid tickets (VALID + USED) |
| Days to event | How many days remain until the start (for the selected event) |
| Promo codes used | The number of promo codes successfully applied |
| Refunds | The number of refunded tickets |
| Cancelled | The number of cancelled tickets |
Sales Chart
The line chart shows daily sales dynamics. Use it to:
- See sales spikes after an announcement or ad campaign goes live
- Track the impact of promotions and promo codes
- Plan additional marketing activity
Ticket Charts
Distribution by type
A doughnut chart shows how sales are split across ticket types (Standard, VIP, Early Bird, etc.).
Check-in
Shows the ratio of how many of the sold tickets were scanned at the door. Useful for gauging actual turnout.
Traffic Sources
The traffic sources widget shows which channel brought a buyer to the event page before their purchase. TixFlow identifies the source in priority order:
?ref=name— your own custom tracking parameter, e.g.?ref=newsletter?utm_source=name— standard UTM parameter used by ad platforms, e.g.?utm_source=instagram- Automatic referrer — if a visitor came from a known platform (Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Bing), the source is detected automatically without any UTM tag
Visits without any of these signals appear as "Direct".

FAQ
Is the data real-time?
Yes. The latest data is loaded every time you open the page.
Why does TixFlow's revenue differ from Stripe's?
TixFlow shows the total order amount (including fees). The Stripe Dashboard shows payment transaction amounts. Your actual payout is the "Organiser payout" line in the order details. See Payouts & Statuses.
Can I download the statistics?
To export data, use the export in the Orders section — there you can download a CSV with all the details.
Do free tickets and guest tickets count towards "Tickets sold"?
Yes. The counter includes all valid tickets, regardless of type or price.
What does "Cancelled" mean as opposed to "Refunds"?
"Refunds" are tickets that have had a financial refund processed through Stripe. "Cancelled" are tickets voided because of an event cancellation or manually (for example, guest tickets).
