How to validate tickets using the TixFlow scanner.

Getting Started

The TixFlow Scanner is a powerful tool available directly in your browser or as a mobile app, allowing you to check in attendees at the venue entrance.

Accessing the Scanner

You can access the scanner by navigating to the "Scanner" page from your dashboard or via the direct scanner URL.

Device Requirements

Any modern smartphone or tablet with a camera and an active internet connection will work. Make sure to grant the browser/app permission to access your camera.

1. Select the Event

Choose the specific event you are currently checking in attendees for.

2. Scan the QR Code

Point your camera at the QR code on the attendee's ticket. The scanner will instantly verify its status.

Ticket Statuses

  • Valid Ticket: The attendee is cleared for entry.
  • Already Used: This ticket has already been scanned and checked in.
  • Invalid Ticket: The ticket is not recognized or does not belong to this event.

Troubleshooting

  • If the camera fails to start, check your browser’s site settings and camera permissions.
  • The scanner requires a stable internet connection to sync ticket data with our servers in real-time.
